Flatulence

Flatulence is the single greatest achievment of mankind to date. The actual act is a simple process wherby harmful methane gases are ejected from the anus, but this fairly unimportant bodily function has brought smiles and chuckles to billions of people throughout time and has become the basis for the whole culture of British humour. Some people find the act of flatulence in public places vulgar and even offensive, so it is probably best to find a quiet, secret place to eject your gases so as to avoid any social confrontations.
However, there is sometimes nothing more exhilirating than letting rip in front of someone who will be completely flabbergasted by it.
