My Kids French Toast

0 Conversations

Yeah this is a complete send out of the Cinnamon Toast Entry that was just posted on the recent entries section. But my kids really do dig my recipe.

1)About 2 eggs per four slices of toast is a good start.
2)I add about a tablespoon of milk per two eggs. Any more
takes away from the eggy feel the toast will have when
cooked.
3)Then I add a generous shake of both cinnamon and nutmeg
equal parts. Then I pour in a goodly amout of pure
vanilla extract.
4)stir to mix in the egg, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and
nutmeg.
5)Now this is where the fun part is. Instead of sliced
sandwich bread, I use a bagette loaf of french bread.
6)soak the bread. I mean soak it. The french bread is some
tough stuff, so you got to get it really eggy.
7)cook. This step I shall leave up to you. We all know how
to use heat, a skillet, and food products, so no pointer
from me on how to burn your house down. Be good.
8)serve and eat. Enjoy
