Every year, scores of innocents commit suicide in the London Underground by leaping onto the tracks in front of oncoming trains. It is widely assumed they have chosen this method after long consideration of the alternatives. Most, however, have no intenion of committing suicide when they enter the station. Quite simply the experience of using the underground system drives them to it. Those passengers who do not commit suicide are simply demonstrating the British capacity to endure foul smells, tropical heat, delays, noise, muttering drunks without complaining. Like most things in England - avoid. (To be on the safe side, avoid England altogether).
