and the world is warm and mellow. Helge was buried on Friday. It was a beautiful day too. Typical.
Helge liked rain. He liked days when you could come in from the rain, a bit wet and cold, with the fresh air hanging in the hair and clothes, and snuggle in a good chair and listen to music and read good books. He wrote poems by candle light. He sat in the pub, drinking a perfectly poured Guinness, listening to our silly conversations, chuckling, and giving his short, precise comments. Giving us things to think about. And we would shut up, and sit there, together.
