I live near the U.S. Pacific coast. We'll have a hard time listening to a live broadcast or webcast at GMT -8. Will the BBC or H2G2 have an archive so we can listen later?

I'm at school so I won't be able to listen to it either

Please, god let there be archives...I'm very interested in hearing this, but the prospect of getting up at 3 in the morning to do so, and then having to go to school, does not excite me. And I doubt the other inhabitants of my house would appreciate the sound blaring from the computer at such an hour...

Check out the Radio 4 website http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/ there are realaudio extracts.
Listening to it at the moment, can't actually tell if it's a live feed or a stored file, I actually think it's the later, so that may be good news.
Neil.

Definitely check out the website, it has expanded versions of some of the interviews (some with video).
