The Gift is a very funny song by a band called The Velvet Underground which innvolves a love-starved man named Waldo, a Girlfreind living a few states away named Marcia, and a medium-sized cardboard box.
the story begins talking about Waldo missing his girlfreind Marcia who moved recently.
Waldo is short on money and decides the cheapest way to get to his girlfreind is to mail himself there.

After packing himself with some comfortable foam, some water, and a few snacks, he feels himself lifted.
after while he arrives at Marcia's house.
Marcia can't seem to find anything to cut the tape off with, so she goes down to the basement to look for somthing to cut it open.
At this point, Waldo is almost shaking in anticipation to see the look on Marcia's face when she opens the box to find her boyfreind sitting there with a big smile on his face.
Marcia comes back upstairs with the only thing she could find: a sheet meatal cutter. her freind tried to make a slit in the tape with the blade but it was too big. so, she decided to just cut it right open. she sent the blade right through the cardboard, right through the foam padding, and right through the middle of Waldo's Head.
I strongly suggest finding this song.
