New Orleans

1 Conversation

Forget jazz – this is a city that has much more to offer than you first thought. New Orleans is so wet that the bones of the dead are said to rise occasionally to be gathered by the living. It is therefore a popular city for both factions.

Marilyn Manson admits readily to having ground the bones of the dead from New Orleans and smoking the powder in a Rizla rolling paper. Other popular icons of our times confess to a more mellow juju and the occasional séance: Anne Rice, for example, regularly installs herself in her own custom made coffin whenever journalists come to call.

If you like daytime TV, believe what you read in the papers, or complain about young people and bad parking, then New Orleans is probably not the city for you.
