Most people have heard of cyber sex, but many may not be aware of cyber D/s (Dominance and Submission) and may not have heard of brats, they can be very mischievous, although mostly harmless.

The common terminology used in cyber D/s is: Top (Dominant person), bottom (submissive person) and not forgetting brat; they're naughty bottoms; who like to get into trouble.

The cyber D/s relationship starts in much the same way as a real life D/s relationship does; with discussions on subjects like trust and agreements made on issues such as commitments, rules, discipline, punishments and limits etc.

This is often a relationship of mutual desire. The bottom may feel unhappy about certain parts of his/her life-style, but does not have the self-discipline to change or adjust, and so seeks out a Top who can offer the discipline the bottom lacks. And the Top who is happy to take control, and offer guidance and discipline in a way which is mutually acceptable.

Tops need to rely on the bottom's honesty, as they cannot check out most situations for themselves. Most agreements will require the bottom to keep a detailed journal. For instance, if a bottom has a 11pm bedtime rule (which they have previously agreed to) and the bottom goes to bed late, he/she must write the time in their jounal and admit this misdemeanour to their cyber Top and accept what ever punishment is issued.

Brats are rather annoying to many Tops. They will bend and break the rules, deliberately getting themselves into trouble, and tend to be attention seekers. But, at the same time they mean no harm, they just want some fun, and can misjudge a situation, and not know when to stop.
