TV remote

Some call it the greatest invention of all time; the Remote. The remote is a handy device with which you from a distance can change channels on your TV. The remote is powered by a battery (A small, often cylindrical thingie used to store electricity.) which conatains power enough for the remote to transmit signals to a reciever on the TV.
The TV recieves the signals and changes channels all according to the person using the remotes wishes.

The remote is also one of the main sources of fights amongst the children of a household (This is a known fact.) and a constant reminder of the fact that technology doesn't always make us happier, but probably fatter.
