I was turned into a cat at Kasia's HALLOWEEN party, and I spent much of my time in Kes's lap...

*Alchemist arrives at the church. He has many reasons for coming here. One is to find Dragonfly; another might be his own silent repentance. Hearing Dragonfly's voice, he remains at the rear of the building, concealed by a pillar. He kneels, praying ... thinking ... silently*
Please, with time, let Dragonfly become aware that no guilt attaches to her actions. If any attaches to her thoughts, it is shared with me. By sleeping on my lap during that party, she ensured that I was not tempted to take part in any excesses of Halloween. Whatever her motive may have been, the outcome was good. Put her mind at rest.

*There being no point hiding, Kes steps ibto the aisle, and walks up to Dragonfly*
I was hoping I'd find you ... this seemed like a good place. So you remember it all now?

Yes... but it's ok... it was a magical time!!!
Besides, that Zeus has done much worse!!!

*Archangels don't blush, but ...*
Ahem, yes, well, I certainly don't intend to compete with his antics! The occasional mortal indiscretion is about all I can cope with. Er, not that I'm suggesting that we were at all indiscrete ... you were a most properly behaved cat at the party .... except ...
*another memory flash*
.. was it you that knocked me to the floor ... just as the party ended? Who knows what might have happened

However, I'm not sure we need to repent for something that didn't happen ...... regret, possibly, but repent?
*Possibly by way of response, a cool wind wafts through the church*

Regret, indeed...
::Kes makes the old mother of the muses feel like a young attracitve titaness again::
::the cool wind wraps around her:: Oh dear... Not another one of those nasty drafts!!! I swear... I thought I had consulted Aelous about his visiting hours!!!
Oh well... we should probably find some place warm...
Repenting...
Kes Posted Nov 6, 2000
Ask him to ban Boreas in favour of Zephyr or Sirocco ... the church is a cold enough place as it is.
But if our business here is done, we can move on. This being your territory, "mother" (No, I'll never get used to that title for you ... ) , perhaps you could recommend somewhere?
Repenting...
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Nov 6, 2000
I'm not your mother, so you need not use that title with me!!!
I don't mind Aelous every now and again!!!
::whispers in Kes's ear:: He's just an old windbag, you know...
Now, there's a cozy cactus garden in Clio's Library of History... http://www.h2g2.com/A427349...

Well, if you're sure it's not too prickly ....
*Offers Dragonfly his arm*
... lead on.
