Well, the German´s say "Deutsche Sprake, Schweere Sprake" Sometimes I think english is just as difficult, evan though I was brought up bilingual.

What´s BSL? You sometimes have to spell things in full to me, as I am out of England for far to long (never mind the fact, that I am not very likely to return )

Usually, we ignorant English can just point and say, "You understand English? I want two of those!"
We also treat foreigners as deaf and cretins. It gets on my wick.
What also annoys me is when I talk to a Frenchman in French, and he replies in English. Why bother?

We used to have a fungame as kids: When English tried to talk german to us (oh, du kannst Deutsch sprecken?) we´d answer in english, and Germans trying their english on us would get fluent German at their heads. That was fun...

I´m bilingual. My dads english, Mums german. And you have to count the local dialects as a third language. Well, at least hearing, speaking is very much more difficult...
