Ennis, Ireland

A small town in the west of Ireland (see maps for details), Ennis is quite pleasant really. Narrow streets, friendly drunks, the perfect place for a holdiay with your family. That is until you realise the extent of the gang and drug problems in this part of Ireland. ><>
There are several gangs in Ennis (pop. 27,000) ranging from the benign "Librarians" to the vicious "Haemorrhoids". ><>
Ennis was founded 800 years ago, almost to the year and has a proud history of cowardice in the face of enemy forces. Ennis laid down its arms and surrendered to Cromwell's forces even before they had reached the town! ><>
Ennis officially has more trees per sq. metre than any other town. That's official! It's only a 45 minute drive to Shannon airport, meaning easy access to most of Europe and America. Not Russia though. Not anymore. ><>
Local exports include electronic equipment, a wide variety of pharmaceuticals, circuitry, drunks and disillusioned youths. Good places to stay include The Queen's Hotel, The West County Hotel, The Temple Gate Hotel and the many comfortable BnB's (Bread n' Butter)scattered throughout town. But NOT The Auburn Lodge. It's a hole. ><>
The best time to come to Ennis is in mid-summer as this is when the most hotel rooms are opened up (to cope with increased demand) increasing your chances of finding a place to stay. The weather also achieves "summer" status by August. Normally. ><>
Come down to Ennis and have the time of your lives! And don't forget your money! ><>
