Based on an old Spencer Tracey movie of 1943 ( A Guy Named Joe ), this 1989 release was not welcomed by critics, but at least
it was a far better farewell to Audrey Hepburn than some of her other recent films would have been ( Bloodline, for one ). It has to be
said that there are few people more apt to play an angel1(Despite the claim that nobody knew for sure if Hap was in fact an angel - including the
director. Audrey put rest to the debate by claiming 'It's just plain old me with a sweater on'
