Based on an old Spencer Tracey movie of 1943 ( A Guy Named Joe ), this 1989 release was not welcomed by critics, but at least

it was a far better farewell to Audrey Hepburn than some of her other recent films would have been ( Bloodline, for one ). It has to be

said that there are few people more apt to play an angel¹(Despite the claim that nobody knew for sure if Hap was in fact an angel - including the

director. Audrey put rest to the debate by claiming 'It's just plain old me with a sweater on'
