Steer Pike

-Restite State Alchemist
-Restite Court Jester

Restite Info and History:
Steerpike was born to his parents in the Restite Kingdom. His mother, Turn Pike was a native Restite and a powerful alchemist for the state military and private sectors. Steer's father, Salas, came from the United States to serve as the kings Jester. His father and mother fell in love shortly after meeting and small wedding followed. Salas took the name of the Pike family and lived in the service of the king. Steer was born a year later.
Steer was left orphaned after his father and mother were killed in a powerful rebound, an alchemic miscalculation that leads to disastrous results backfiring on the alchemist, Steer was taught “the art” by the “old lady” in the kingdom. Never knowing her name, he called her “Sensei” and studied human psychology and the Art from her. Wishing to follow both his parents’ paths he took the job as jester and restored the family lighthouse to pursue his research. During a short hiatus in his education he was called into military service and developed the State Alchemists Military, SAM, to augment the flying pig armies and the knights of the octagonal table. Code name: “Seismic Alchemist” he trained 10 others in the Arts and alchemic combat. His appearance on the battle field has always lead to an immediate cease fire and end of hostilities, none wish to face a power that controls the very ground they stand on.
Steerpike’s research facility is his life… though he serves as entertainment director (AKA: jester) he has of late expressed interest in passing this duty onto another in the kingdom. His Art has become his all consuming passion!

Steer’s Alchemy:
As the seismic alchemist, Steer uses “Instantaneous Transmutation theorem” to achieve his Art. Keeping papers etched with variable transmutation circles and his signature gloves (also etched with what he playfuly calls his "landslide glyph") he can produce alchemic results with a minimum of prerequisites at hand, and in a fraction of the time most others need. Typically seen in his mundane garb, in times of special guests and festivals he dresses in a modified military uniform unique to the SAM officers. (All SAMs start as majors in the military and are given a signet ring with a Chimera gem set into it) his three most potent attacks are called “Seismic Gun”, “Seismic Cannon”, and “Seismic Array” all of which do not kill but cause the gravity in a given area to fluctuate to his will. All are of a varying degree with Array being a multi-targeting version of the others. Steer has never used them in combat!
