How to remove/hide messages/conversations

Post 1

nature1982

Hello,
I have some private conversation on my board and I want to have them removed. Tried everything but to no avail. Is there a way that I can just delete them to save me from embarrassment. One of my friend has already dug up these messages through Google and I am not sure how far he'll go. Any immediate help will be appreciated.

Regards
Jenny

Hello
I would also like to know how to remove the messages listed at the bottom of My Space, please. I know how to unsubscribe to threads but not the messages in h2g2, which I hadn't used until recently. Maybe you can send me an e too?
Thanks
RozK, sometimes invisible poster.

Hi RozK, you cannot manually remove these messages. However, if feel that any message/post breaks the House Rules (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/HouseRules) for whatever reason, please alert the post in question by clicking on the alert button (the red exclamation mark in a blue circle) giving your reason why it should be hidden. smiley - ok

Thank you

The messages aren't breaking house rules but I really don't like them being in My Space and would not have contributed to them if I knew they would be!

I only commentded on them to alert some of my friends from pov GR, to the fact that they are not private, like those on another forum where some of them are members. No one has said anything controversial but best to be aware.

If there is any way that you can remove them from my personal MY Space I would be very grateful. If not can I report them anyway and ask them to be removed from my My Space but not off the forum for other people?

Thanks and sorry to be a pain!
RozK
