Loughborough!


Loughborough, or "the borough of lough"1 is a quaint English market town gone wrong. It is in Leicestershire, England. And my advise to anyone who fancies visiting it is don't! Get away whilst you still have your sanity!


However, some people do risk their very being and make it to this God-forsaken town. The first thing that any visitor to Loughborough needs to know is how to pronounce it. Loughborouians fall over themselves laughing at any unwary tourist who expresses his oppinions of "Looga barooga". For reasons unknown to man Loughborough is pronounced "luff burra".
