Teletubbies areLarge, colorful children's TV characters with
Televisions in their Tummies and Aerials on their heads.
They include:
- 'Tinky Winky' (Purple with Triangle)
- 'Dipsy' (Green with straight)
- 'La La' (Yellow with curly) and
- 'Po' (Red with circular aerial)
They show educational TV clips from their tummies when the big windmill spins.

They have been criticised because of their bad English,
but there have been claims that their baby talk helps to teach
children to speak.
Their diet consists of Tubby custard and Tubby toast and
they live in their house with the 'Noo Noo' (vacuum cleaner). They
often have 'Big Hugs' and run around Teletubby land. The filming
location remains a secret to the program's producers (Rag doll
productions and BBC) and also US spy satellites.
