Sangrail Cottage

Sorry - too late - I'm sure the bump will go down soon…
Welcome to Sangrail Cottage - mind the step - thought to be one of the oldest houses in this village. It's certainly one of the oddest. The floors are uneven, the walls are four foot thick and the ceiling - ouch! - are very low. Still, I call it home.
I'm very proud of the exposed roof timbers throughout, and the huge, inglenook fireplace in the living room: cats love it! I'm a bit short of mod. cons: I don't have a fridge or a washing machine, but I do have a larder and a laundry room.
From my front door, or through the diamond-paned front windows, I have a beautiful view across the village green: I'm right in the centre of the village, so I can see excatly what's happening! It's very handy for the shop too. I can see toward the pub to the left and down to the church on my right: what could be better?
My garden is my pride and joy: flowers and lovely organic vegetables: I wonder if I can pass some on to my neighbours?
Please feel free to drop in at any time: the kettle's always boiled!
