Welcome to the village museum
The village museum is filled with the sorts of things that people have kept for generations because they thought they might be useful one day
There are glass cases with glass-eyed stuffed animals, old crockery gas masks and some old bottles. Each of which has been carefully labeled with a small card covered with meticulously hand written spidery copperplate now faded and almost illegible
some sad display boards contain old photos of school groups, old buildings, spinning looms and primitive vehicles
The whole place is slightly dingy and dusty and is lit by a single 60 watt bulb high up in the rafters
A door leads out to the Village Library
