H2G2, as we all know, is full of intellegent, amusing, exciting and stimulating things. We have the Edited Guide and the Underguide to recognise good writing, but we don't have anything to reconigise great conversations. For so many of us the reason we keep coming back to h2g2 is for the conversations.

I need to know which conversations you are currently addicted to. What has you refreshing to find out if there's been a reply. Which one has intellgent debate? Which thread is so silly that you can't help chuckling?

How it works

As with all good award process there are two sections; shortlisting and voting.

Shortlisting

To nominate a thread for this month, you simply type the link into the helpful box below and click on the button. The top five most nominated threads go onto a shortlist.

Voting

A week before the end of the month I'll prepare a article for the post reviewed the five most nominated threads. I'll then provide an e mail address for people to e mail me with their choice on, if they e mail me any comments on why they are voting for that thread then I can quote them in the award ceremony.

The thread with the most votes will recieve a tasteful trophy.It's rather large and silverish, and stands on a base of rainbow swirling marble. Oh and it's imaginary.

The award will be presented to the 'Thread of the month' in a sumputous ceremony in the h2g2 post.
