RUSTIC ARCH

0 Conversations

A rustic arch has now been erected in my garden after a good deal of hammering and measuring on the part of my spouse who has turned into proper little Noah. It has been christened "Noah's Arch" which means of course that you have to pass through it two at a time, preferable making animal noises as you do so. I am relieved to say, it's erection was a relatively painless process and did not involve exhuming Abigail, the dead pig. The two cats are delighted with it because, having wrecked the new sofa, they have at last found an external scratching pole. This is all fine and dandy now but I will be less impressed with them once the Clematis Vivien Pennel and the New Dawn rambling rose, purchased at vast expense and lovingly planted, have begun their ascent up said arch.
