Joyce Mary Stephens born 1 July 1925 in the village of Colden Common, Hampshire. To Hilda Mary Stephens (Nee Bligdon) and Alfred Hansford Stephens.

Married to Charles August 1948

Bore 2 Sons myself, and my brother.

Spent nearly all her life in the County of Hampshire.

Favourite story of hers was when she was cycling along from Twyford, to Colden Common during World War 2. When a German plane started to machine gun her, at Twyford Moors. She quickly jumped off her bike and hid in a ditch on the side of the road.

Passed away 12 August 2008.

Cremated 21 August 2008, at Basingstoke.

Ashes at Jno Steele, Chesil Street, Winchester, in the Garden of Remembrance

Grandmother to Lucie, Michelle, David, Helen and Matthew

Farewell Mother.
