<H1>Attention!!!</H1>
<P>Hope I've got your attention... well, sit down, have a coffee <SMILEY TYPE="coffee"/> and some cake <SMILEY TYPE="cheesecake"/>.</P>
<P>You may find that some of this page is out of date. Sigh. Things change, and I forget to update them. Oh, one favour: if you haven't seen me for a while, and then I'm online, point, and shout very loudly so that everyone around takes notice, "Look! I do declare that Joe C is over there!". Hopefully, if enough people read this, I can simultaneously render half of h2g2 insane, or at least make them <I>appear</I> insane.</P>
<P>Regards!</P>

It's... the <B><FONT SIZE="+1">Alternating Advert Area</FONT></B><FOOTNOTE>Yes, I could probably have thought of a better name but 'AAA' is much nicer...</FOOTNOTE> ; when I feel like it, I'll go in search of a nice, interesting blob or badge advertising some sort of place, club or guild, and link to it.<BR/><BR/>
The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable concept...

This page is best in h2g2 skins, specifically Brunel, although it works in GOO<FOOTNOTE>Grr.</FOOTNOTE> and Alabaster<FOOTNOTE>Grr, but not as grr as the previous footnote.</FOOTNOTE>. It looks <I>very</I> messy in most other DNA skins, so use the box above.

OK: I'm from London; I live in King's Lynn. I am completely eccentric (so I'm told); I write scripts occasionally; when a broken link on the BBC Casualty website sent me to h2g2, I had a look around, discovered I loved the place, and registered <SMILEY TYPE="tongueout"/>. Then I began to get bored of h2g2, and realised that, while I was enjoying the entries I was being sent as a sub-editor, I wasn't doing <STRIKE>enough</STRIKE> anything in the community. So, after joining a couple of societies and guilds (see the drop-down box below), it occurred to me to become an ACE. I was just waiting for Abi to give me my ACE badge, when 'Petunia' happened, and the depleted Italics were only recruiting for one scheme at a time. Then, after finally getting my badge and doing a little ACEing, I moved house and had to stop again <SMILEY TYPE="groan"/>. I also had a brief fling with Gem Polishing for the UnderGuide, but was too busy to continue, especially as I've now rejoined the ranks of the Sub-editors <SMILEY TYPE="biggrin"/> and so this nice shiny blue badge is mine.<BR/><BR/>

Casualty; I'm a fan! I've taken various first aid courses (up to the four-day First Aid at Work level), and I want to be a paramedic.<BR/>
<BR/>
I'd read the Hitch-Hiker's books and watched the TV series before I found h2g2; I've been here since around February 2003, and I'm running out of things to say now... so I'm going to make a list of stuff I like and don't like <SMILEY TYPE="tongueout"/> Well, everyone else has one!
