Regarding the comma dispute, I have come to an idea on the re-wording front. How does, 'The Broken Spoke has been kind to many Texas artists, including Austin locals' sound? Or something of that sort. I think the comma should be avoided altogether and this seems a good way to accomplish that.

That sounds like a way forward Let me look at it in the context of the entry

No, that still doesn't work because what you get now is "The Broken Spoke has also been kind to many Texas artists, including Austin locals such as Don Walser, Gary P. Nunn, Alvin Crowe, Asleep at the Wheel, Dale Watson, The Derailers, and the Geezinslaws", and those aren't all Austin locals. I think I can get around it though.

I've also just realised that this section doesn't quite make sense because a lot of the artists in the first list (Willie Nelson, George Strait etc) are Texas artists anyway.
