I watched the docuemtnary "If I Fall From Grace" on Shane McGowan. It was really good. Although you can't help feeling uncomfortable with the dichotomy of such a brilliant musical mind willingly destroying the body that holds it.

I may or may not have seen that one 
I did catch part of something on American TV a year or so back with a very wrung out looking Shane McGowan, and you're right - even Keef Richards isn't as wasted as Shane. And Keef has been dead for at least 10 years

It was the first time I had heard "Summer in Siam". It is such a beautiful song and so touchingly sung by him.
