You've been around soooo long and have so much experience of h2g2 Would you please do me a favour?

You know I said I've written 3 entries about Orkney's neolithic heritage which I think should be separate entries, but linked - hopefully - as they go through PR and onto the front page? Well, they're lurking now at A2735075A2735057 and A2735039

Would you please (pretty please?) do me a big favour and have a quick look at them and see if I'm thinking along the right lines about 3 entries, rather than one huge one? I reckon if it's one entry, it'll be too big and Peerers will be put off reading it. What do you think?

PR's very very quiet at the moment: I'm hardly getting any responses to my entries , so I don't want to do anything that'll deter people even more....

Mind you, I think the next one I write will be about composting loos. That should get people talking However, I have 2 more to type up before I can get going on that.... !!

These three entries stand as they are I reckon If you were to put them into PR at the same time you could state that they are a series of linked entries, and link one to another within each entry, since I've no doubt that they'd all be recommended.

When the University closed down there was an announcement for the Souts... but I can't remember where it was. It gave details about how Researchers should go about submitting multiple linked entries along the lines of a University project to PR. But UPs were normally six to ten entries long.

I'd just submit them all together, perhaps in a couple of weeks once your current batch has been recommended and taken out of PR. Make it clear that they are meant to be viewed as a whole. What with them being three entries, you may even get the whole Front Page once they've been subbed

Do you want me to go over them as if they were already in PR so that can be as near to ready as we can both make them? I did see a few things that need attention

Yes, I want them to go together onto the front page, cos otherwise they don't really make sense. But too big to go as one entry. Good. I'm glad you agree. Now why should I be in the least surprised about that?

I've drafted a PR thread-starter for them which is basically the same - directing Peerers to the other 2 (two?) entries.

And, yes, I'd already decided to let my current 3 entries clear PR before I added any more. There are 2 more lurking as well as these 3

I shouldn't be surprised about you suggesting edits either I spotted a couple of typos when I scooted through them yesterday, but haven't done anything about them. So fire away and suggest changes - especially if it saves time once in PR.

Just bung comments on the bottom of each entry: I'll pick them up.
