Hmmm... I guess you're right. I'm sorry. I was angry last night. There was a guy here, sitting across from me, playing a GUITAR! I really wanted to hit him, but I was busy taking CALLS.
He's pi**ed me off so much...
Sorry.

I'm slowly calming down after five days of South by Southwest. Five days of madness and mayhem at the store. Twice as much business during the week, plus ten bands and artists doing instores on... quite loudly Thank God it's all over for another year and I have a day off tomorrow. Pu it this way - on a Sunday we usually have about $2,000 worth of sales by 4pm, and by the time we close at midnight it'll be somewhere around four grand. Today we'd done over $5,000 at 4.30pm *Faints" ::THUD::
How about you, and the old man?

Is ok.
The OLD man?
We're fine. He's training to be a sales person and I'm waiting for him here 'till he's finished for today so I have time to catch up on backlog.
Sounds like too much -fun over there, at least for you...
God, I hate mondays! it's so good this one's over...

I Mondays
The weekend is an absolute nightmare at work because we don't have enough staff to cope with the volume of customers, and Monday is like a great weight off the shoulders
As well as that, all the good tv and radio stuff comes back on Monday and continues throughout the week until the next weekend.

"Monday, monday, can't trust that day...."
I hate mondays 'coz we have a sky rocketing calls queue and you can't do ANYTHING other than answer calls. You've finished one- BEEP!- the next. And the customers wait for over 30 minutes on the line and are cranky and .
Hate mondays.

I also hated weekends when I drove for a living - everything they say about weekend drivers is true On Saturday in London there are more traffic jams than on any weekday

Ugh... I hate driving among Israelis. They're awful. I'm happy not to be driving, though I do like driving.
I wait all week for fridays. The weekend keeps me sane. We're now trying to find a nice deal on a hotel and go spend a fun weekend in the red sea shore.

I really don't like driving here either - I haven't got myself a Texas licence yet. They're nutters. Nobody seems content with just getting from A to B, they've got to do it with attitude
This weekend is a nice one because I don't have to work, but for at least 10 years now I've hated weekends. It's great being able to got the the shops/laundry room/parks/attractions during the week when most people are at work - go there at the weekend and it's just too busy.

Well, at the moment we are lacking any type of social life, 'coz we work afternoon-night shift. But... i don't have many friends, and I'm too tired anyway.
Weekends are bliss.

Yeah, it was like that for a while for me and Mrs Gosho - we worked different hours and had different days off so we often hardly saw each other, and almost never did anything together It's a little easier now, but we have no dosh

Yeah, it's either one or the other, eh?
We took turns in being the providers and barely ever worked at the same time, but I'm doing well here, and he's started today, so hopefully...

Mrs Gosho's been selling home made pet treats for about a month now, and I'm thinking about the best way to put my sweet-making knowledge to similar use
