Rook Strategy for Beginners

1 Conversation

You need some tips on the card game Rook? Then you came to the right place, here are some tips that I use to help win the game:

1.Make up some kind of body gesture signal with your partner to tell each other if they have the rook, make sure no one will notice it.

2.When you get the nest, make it so you only have two colors left in your hand, one will be the one you will name the trump (make sure it is the one that you have the most of) and the 2nd one that you have high card in, like a 14 or a 13. Then at the begining when everyone has to lay down the led card color you can place down a trump or a 14 of the led color(then a 13 then a 12, 11, etc.) and you will definantly get the trick, except if the rook is played by another palyer.

3.Never bid high unless you have the rook or really really really good cards (or your partner, look at tip#1)

4. never use the Rook if you can win the trick with something else, might as well us it to get out of a tight fix later.

5. If you know that your partner is gouing to win the trick then place down some counters if possible.

6. If you don't have a Rook card game then get one! You will not be disapointed, thir only six to seven dollers. :):):)
