Teaspoons

Teaspoons are not only one of the most important ingredients required to make a nice, strong, hot cup of tea, but (and not a lot of people know this) are also a natural physical phenomenon.
As most people know, metal conducts heat. What is largely unknown, however, is that metallic teaspoons conduct heat more than any other metallic object in the known Universe.
As an experiment, make yourself a cup of tea (see the guide entry A61345 to do this properly). Whilst allowing it to brew for the obligatory three or more minutes, leave the teaspoon standing in the cup of water. When you want to remove the tea bag, try picking up the spoon. You will witness the law of physics at work.
