Charlie Byers

This is my favorite person in the whole wide world. Charlie and I met in August of 1995, when I was 17 and he was 14. He was shorter than me, and just a cute little butterball with glasses and chipmunk cheeks. I thought he was adorable. We fell out of touch for about two years.
So, then what?
Imagine my surprise when, on a January afternoon in 1998, I saw a very good looking tall young man in a fabric store, his back to me, and I thought to myself, "Hey, he's kinda cute..."1 Then my mom turned to me and said, "Isn't that Charlie?" Yow!!
But the story doesn't end there.
You see, at the time, I was involved with another guy. So I couldn't very well have just upped and ran away with Charlie, as much as I would've liked to. It took us almost two years of hanging out before we finally realized that we were in love. This has been the best year of my life so far. What I look forward to is that day when we finally get married. Sigh...
Our favorite things.
We enjoy The Simpsons, the theatre, working on our scripts together, taking long walks in parks, smoking, Denny's, and coffee. Prefarably when taken together in three or more chunks. (Like Simpsons, smoking and coffee. Or smoking, scriptwriting, and the theatre. You get the idea.)
