battle royale, an awsome book and great movie

battle royale started in japan. it was created by a man named kousun takami. this book is about a juinor high school class (ninth grade) that gets selected by the government to participate in the dreaded program. the program selects a random class of 42 student, brings them to a deserted island, and releases them every two minuts with a map, weapon, and special necklace. this necklace has a bomb in it that will explode if you go into a forbidden zone or try to escape. a forbidden zone is anounced every morning and night. the students decide to play, well, some do. the only way to win is to be the last person standing. its a very good book and the movie is good and has a sequal.
