THAT is my hometown, and also, it turns out, the fastes growing city in the united states. In eight years it has ballooned from 4,000 people to 47,000 people which is just incomprihensible to most of the old timers who have been here since it was just a train station and thats all.
The best way to enjoy lincoln is, frankly, not to come. In fact, avoid it whenever possible, as not only is it placed in silicon valley, meaning it gets swellteringly hot here, around one hundred five degrees fahrenheit in the summer, but theres nothing here. Nothing, save a few grocery stores, a starbucks, and a round table, which would hardly be worth traveling all that way to see. Everything else is placed conveiniently out of town, so you have a nice half hour drive through the sweltering heat in an overheating car to get to the nearest mall or best buy or the water slides, which are sure to have lines which take aprox. seventy-four hours to get to the end of, whereupon you find you've been standing in line for the womens restroom and not, as you had suspected, the "master blaster". So, in short, don't come where i live. You'll be glad you didn't.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
