Doctor Who Story: Ace's Choice: Chapter One

0 Conversations

Ace was in the TARDIS attic. She came across a large book. It was a guide ot Time Lord history.

"This is brilliant, Professor!" she told the Doctor.

The Doctor received a mayday call from the Time Lords. "They can't find the black hole that Omega is inside! He was our first great Time Lord, with Rassilon.

"We're in Perivale, my home." said Ace.

"It is Perivale, 1966. It's swinging, Ace." said the Doctor.

Beloved British television actor Ted Hawley was rehearsing in a rundown theatre. "This is Asmiov, not Dickens!"

The Doctor and Ace entered the theatre. "I'm Ace, and this is the Professor! Weren't you in Eastenders?"

"That is Ted Hawley, the Eastenders actor." said the Doctor.

"I'll sign autographs for something." said Hawley.

Ace was starstruck, but then she saw two hippies. "It's my parents!"

"We're Audrey and Dudley, peacebringers."

The Doctor gave Ace a miniskirt. "Just wear it to keep a low profile!"

Hawley continued to rehearse the Asimov play. "I am a crook, a thief and a robot!"

"So, where's the black hole?" Ace asked the Doctor.

"My first incarnation is here with War Machines. The two TARDISes are now one again, with the creation of Omega's young son."

"I'll call him Alpha." said Ace, listening to the Beatles in a cafe.

The Doctor saw the boy following the black hole. "Omega is now just a talking mind!"
