The Portrait of Styx

Styx is a heavy metal deathrat, originally acquired as a pet by Mike A, aka Quorthon. One day he suddenly changed from an H2G2 creation into a researcher in his own right. At first he lived under a corner table in the main salon of the Atelier, where he made a nest by ripping the stuffing out of a down throw pillow. That's when this portrait was made.

Styx moved on to a more lush nest under Mike's bed, then found a place more private after Mike married Jinx. But when Mike left, so did Styx... to live with a new friend and partner, Amy the Ant. You can find Styx at Graphic Ants.
