Daphart or DaPhArt if you prefer is Digitally altered Photographic Art.

I guess it says it all, but the photograph has to be substantially altered to qualify not just enhanced to improve it from a photgraphic point of view.

The main criterion would be that it would not necessarily nor immediately be recognised as a photograph.
