Sub needed. Will pay
Mu Beta Posted Jul 22, 2003
It's quite simple:
There are two teams. One team goes in, and they all go in except two men who go out. The other team all go out and try to get the men that are in (that is to say, out) out. You can be caught out, run out, bowled or LBW (there's a guide entry about this somewhere). When a man that is in is out, he goes in and another man comes out to be in. When the team that is not in gets ten men from the team that is in out, then everyone comes in, and the team that were in all go out to to get the other team out.
Simple, huh?

Yup. Look at the announcement for the Uni closing -
"...The first week that we do not have a project for the Front Page (ie we come to the end of the queue of projects) will be the week that the University finally closes its doors."
Which means that I have to hurry and make sure I have all 15 minute subbing entries

Er...no. Because your project is in the queue until you decide to abandon it altogether. The announcement several weeks ago was simply the announcement of the closure of the queue.

I thought the queue was referring to the line of entries that have been subbed and are ready for the front page.
Well, okay then. I've been putting a lot of pressure on myself lately to finish this (And it's been near impossible what with the UnderGuide) so I suppose I can breathe easier.
Hmm. Yes that definitely feels better. Unless you're wrong

Oh give over! The fact that Mina knows about your project means it's not going to get lost in the system.

Well I wasn't sure if I could be able to finish it in the time alloted when I thought the time allotted was much smaller

Oh. OK
That does seem a little bit perverse seeing as, before the sexuality project, there wasn't one on the front page for something like 8 months.
Why don't you ask Mina if I can start Subbing the entries you've already finished, and that'll make sure we get our place in the queue?

Sure. I only need a lil' while to read through a few entries and make sure they're finished
I doubt Mina will let us do it though

I decided that if I finish a baseball project, it will be about the legends
The project title is now revised as 'The Legends of American Baseball' and it will have entries on the legends, the awards and the hall of fame. Is that okay?
off to ask Mina

Just as a status report, I've now finished five entries. I've got that motivation back and I'm hoping to finish an entry every day this week.

You do realise you'll still have to wait until I finish Ben's project though, don't you?

Yeah, but it's less pressure for me!
My point is that I think I can finish this by then I didn't before.

Mina asked me to ask you if you'll have time to sub this one now After all, you're already subbing Ben's project and the subbing has to be done pretty quickly
Finished another entry today.

I should have time. I can hustle yours through in a few weeks between finishing Ben's and returning to Uni. I'm not taking regular Subbing batches atm, so there shouldn't be a problem.
