Computers and Desks

0 Conversations

Computers are constantly becoming more advanced and cheaper. However there is also a paradox at work which means that the computer required to run all the amazing new software you want to run always costs very slightly more than you are willing to spend.

Scientists have also discovered (after research costing a great deal of money and involving far too many free lunches) that the amount of information stored on a computer will always expand to fill the available storage space. This theory can also be applied to desks (the amount of paperwork will increase to fill the desk). The result is that there is never quite enough storage space. There have been claims of a conspiracy between the manufacturers of hard disks, RAM chips and desks but so far there has been no proof of this.
