Hi Mr D., dont be too shirty with AR2910 it looks like they are a new reasearcher.
Hello AR hope you have fun here there are lots of places to lurk and join in if things seem strange at first its because they are but strange in a good way.
Here a couple of hints and tips to help you a long your way. People dont respond to people who are nasty, I should know, so if you have something constructive to say that THEN be "witty" about other people. Insults without sunbstance get labbeled as trolling.
Its common practice to introduce yourself on long running threads or on parts of h2g2 where you are not known and you dont know the people you're addressing.
From your home page:
"AR2910, or 'THE GRAND-MATER OF ALL KNOWLEDGE' as he is known in Skegness (which by some odd coincedence is his home planet not far from the opposite galactic rim) has been an official researcher for The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy since his employment to the organisation in 1914. He chose to join the Hg2g

Yeah! Blicky and I have a very complicated relationship which revolves around me being too ambiguous (and on very special occasions being inadvertently controversial) in a politcial thread, Blicky calling me up on it, me getting shirty and then Blicky getting shirty back... it's taken a while to establish such a constructive rapport and you'll need to get to know both of us better if you want to be inducted into this exclusive club.
