The common or garden towel is of pivotal significance in the serier of books written by Mr Adams. One can easily appreciate its use during a teleport. But how does this ancient and accepted use relate to the bowler in cricket ?
Does it a) mean that all bowlers are prepared for immediate evacuation in the event of a Vorgon ship arriving or b) its their exit if they can't take a wicket - assuming the arrival of a Vorgon ship.
Personally, I think its c).
