Sorry to be screaming, folks, but read this and weep.

So, if you've still got some convo's on what used to be Talk Buffy, now's the time to download them and save them from digital oblivion.
You can access those convo's through the conversation list on your personal page. If you go back far enough, you should find them.
Good luck.

You have got to love the BBC. 700,000 users a month. Any other organization would be thrilled to have access to that many people on a regular basis, not the BBC. They run TV channels that get 19,000 viwers and less for Nationally broadcast programs...Are they chopping them? Not a chance!

It may not be their fault, they have been being forced to dump the site in the interests of what Uncle Government laughingly falls "fair" competition. Apparently provided a good service for free (except it is isn't as we all pay licence fees to support the beeb and all it's works) is unfair competition for sites that make you pay for the privilege. Blame the "free" market ecconomy, Tony Blair and all those who have worshipped it for the past twenty years. we need an angry smiley to fully get the full mettle of my opinion on this one. I'll leave it at that before I completely Hulk out and start ranting.
