A Conversation for Slayerville

If any of you made it to the London MCM expo over the weekend, you'll know exactly what I mean. What a nightmare!

We got there about 30 minutes before the opening time, expecting a few more people than the last time we went and what a surprise when we saw just about the entire sci-fi/cult fan base for Britain. I should have expected it really, considering who was there, Kevin Sorbo (Andromeda), Tia Carrere (Waynes World), Rob Van Dam and Matt Hardy (WWE), Teryl Rothery (Stargate SG1), John De Lancie (Star Trek), Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek) and of course Robia La Morte and Amber Benson, plus a wide range of other sci-fi and cult stars.

It was absolute mayhem, 100's of people all over the place, not knowing where to go or what to do. But all of that was worth it to see Amber once again, as I said before and I'll say again she is the most wonderful person, we got to join in on her questions and answers session, where she just kept cracking jokes and making us all laugh. This time had been put aside for the premier showing of the trailer for her new film 'Dirty', but the powers at Expo were unable to get the equipment to work so we missed out. By the time we got around to meeting her we were a little surprised that she remembered us from the last time we met and when I asked her to speak to my friend (who you all know as Black Eyes) on the phone, she was more than happy to.

Kinda like texting from your computer, you should be able to get there via the hotmail account you have. Have a look, Im still getting the hang o it but its pretty simple.

It's the powers at be trying to tell me that I and Black eyes aren't meant to be on the internet at the same time. The day I help to sort out black eyes internet connection my hard drive crashes and I have to have it taken away to the computer hospital, they say that they're going to have to replace the drive or replace the computer. They tell me it's only going to take a couple of weeks, but that probably means 3 weeks at least and I think I'm being optimistic. Anyway, I'm back to the old fashioned way of doing things, but it more than likely means that I won't be around for some time.

Old fashioned being a euphamism (sp?) for slow and painful

I have an EZ PC [pronounced the American way] and even with it's 300kb processor and 4gig HD it is much more reliable than any of the Trash I've since been lumbered with. You can go and make tea whilst it is loading and the clock is stuck on July 1988, but, hey, nothing's perfect.
