I recently watched the 100 sexiest moments on channel 4. One of the many countdowns that Myself and Black Eyed girl have watched and had many a heated discussion about.

I was pleased to finally come across a Buffy moment. So much in the style of the radio 1 Sunday afternoon countdown... And in at number 40 this week is Buffy and Spike bringing the house down in 'Smashed'.

Fantastic, Buffy finally gets some recognition, the only problem with that scene is that I would hardly consider as the sexiest Buffy moment. There were numerous scenes that were far sexier and more erotic, examples being, Willow's and Tara's spell from 'Who Are You'. Angel biting Buffy in 'Graduation Day, part 2'. I found these two scenes way more erotic.

I put it down to the whole Buffy/Spike phenomenon. Many fans seem to have fixated themselves on this particular relationship, it's even generated it's own online name, Spuffy. This seems very strange to me, as this particular relationship is considered as the Buffy-verses most destructive relationship.

Yes, I'd definitely agree with the Angel drinking Buffy scene being far more erotic than Buffy boinking Spike. In fact, I think Dawn dancing in The Bronze was sexier than that....... I think the problem with Spuffy is that it wasn't subtle enough to be considered that sexy - too in-your-face for my liking.

Probably the sexiest moment for me was when Buffy appeared in the library wearing nothing but a raincoat during Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered. Xander was as heroic here in turning her down as he's ever been.

As you can probably tell by my name, that would be one of mine too. With my name in mind, how could I forget Willow & Tara in the back of the ice-cream truck 'Shoot me, stuff me, mount me'!

I can't believe I didn't notice that part of your name was "Buffy's raincoat"! Oh well, I still love that scene, though.

This may not appeal to everyone but for me it has to be Buffy walking down the beach in Anne and Angel putting his arms around her.

Closely followed by vamp Willow licking Megan Gray in Doppelgangland.

I thought a sexy spuffy scene was int he alleyway behind the Bronze in Fool for Love, although there's no actual sex.

I'll admit to a serious Spuffy fixation... It seems that though the relationship was the most destructive, it was also the most realistic (not in terms of the relationship itself, but the fact that it didn't have that blissful puppy-love aspect that Buffy/Angel and Willow/Tara had), and the fact that season five seemed to set it up for so long. Also, Spike's friendship with Buffy in early s6 is often overlooked (she'll "never be friends" with Angel, after all).

Perhaps it's more of an obsession than a fixation.
