Vending Machines

1 Conversation

A friend once said to me that he believed that one day, vending
machines would eventually replace all forms of religion, since once you had made your donation, the machine judges you, and decides then whether you will be blessed with a hot beverage (or chocolate bar, depending on your selection), or whether you will be forever damned to wonder the earth, trying to decide what you have done to deserve the disapproving whir of the machine, followed by the mocking sight of your rightful possession hanging by a tiny corner of it's wrapper, just beyond your reach.
