So next time you go to rent a movie, ask about one of these before heading straight to the "new release" shelf.
Some Of The Best Movies You've Probrably Never Seen (but should):
Cannibal! The Musical
Directed by: Trey Parker
This movie has been described as Oklahoma meets Blood Sucking Freaks! It stars Trey Parker and Matt Stone, known by most as the creators of South Park. This is the true story of Alferd Packer, the only man ever convicted of Cannibalism in America (no joke). It is also one of the funniest movies you will see in a very long time. Packer is the guide for five miners trying to get from Utah to Colorado and all goes wrong when they run into a bunch of trappers and Packer looses his horse Lianne. Whatever you have to do to see this movie, it is worth it!
Sleepaway Camp
Directed by: Robert Hiltzik
We've all seen atleast one 80's B-movie slasher horror flick with a summer camp setting, but this is the best 80's B-movie slasher horror flick with a summer camp setting ever made!!! If seen in a video rental store, you'd see the cover, you'd read the name, and you'd walk right on by. Sleepaway Camp may seem like every other at first, in fact almost the whole way through the movies you can figure out who the killer is, and dont worry, your right, but that is not the good part about this movie. The good part is the ending and it can not be described without ruining it for everyone. It can not even be hinted at, so you must trust that it's worth it. If you like twisted psych horror movies, you will become a cult follower to this movie, it's that good!
The Chipmunk Adventure
Directed by: Janice Karman
Yes, it's animated. Yes, it's for kids. Yes, it is the cutest movie ever made and even if your grown it's worth the rent. Most people probrably missed this unless you were a child of the 80's. We follow Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and even the Chipettes on a hot air ballon race around the world. There are plenty of songs to remember this great movie by, and if you've seen this as a kid, you can probrably still sing most of them today.
Evil Toons
Directed by: Fred Olen Ray
Another B-movie that is like no other. It may come across as a horror/porn movie, but to enjoy it you have to understand that it is a comdey. The movie starts out with four girls cleaning a house when they find a book of magic spells. After reading out of it they bring to life a monster which is suppose to resemble some sort of wolf-thing, but its animated, not the whole movie...just the wolf. Very Roger Rabbit-ish. It's hard to figure out if this wolf-thing is trying to steal the girls souls as it's suppose to be, or molesting them, or maybe thats how it takes thier souls... You might find yourself thinking this film is offensive, and then you have to step back and remember that...This IS a CARTOON wolf(-thing). Either way, its hillarious watching this movie, cause it doesnt really fall into any one category. It does contain some nudity, but it really isnt that graphic, and is in no way coming close to any type of porn. It's atleast worth seeing once.
