It was just our dark side briefly taking the better of us... And hey, it WAS a VERY good doughnut. Such a damned shame it has all been eaten now. *Sobs sympathetically* I'm so sorry. The juicy middle, the crunchy crust and the sweet vapours of warm dough(nut)...
Well, but I'll see if I can find another in the back of the freezer or something.

*Hrhm*
A golden, only lightly greasily glinting crust of perfectly fried surface encasing the most succulent, soft and warm cores of pure, warm and delicious dough(nut). Perhaps the glistening is enhanced with a gentle sprinkle of sugar or a tastefull dollop of chokolate frosting. And the smell... Oh, the smell... Rich vapours gently caressing the nostrils and preparing the mouth for the feast.
