A Conversation for The Park woods

Yeah - I'd have thought those birds over there would have eaten them...

This looks fun...but the bluebells and honeysuckle have gone now the house is nearer...and all the squirrels and birds are quiet.
Still the house IS made of yummy gingerbread.

yikes! bats!
*ducks for cover*
It does get a bit creepier now we're quite close to the house, doesn't it? Scary - just plain scary...

I like bats. Where did the ducks take cover?
*looks around trying to see ducks*

Well the cottage is yummy (unless it's gone stale). It's who lives in it that makes it scary...

*rubs head* not as painful as your bat MyRedDice - I'd better warn you that I'm a dry stone waller and I've got lots of non-gentle tools to hit you with if you try that again- so OK it was pretty awful wasn't it
Oh the gingerbread house...isn't there usually children-eating witches living in them? *looks around nervously*

So bad I'll totally ignore it and try a bit of window pane....*smash, clatter, crunch, munch slurrp*..mmm sugary with just a little hint of cinnamon I think *sniffs bit of 'glass' * ...Yes definitely cinnamon with perhaps a touch of apple in the lingering aftertaste.

Hmm... I always wondered what they meant by food on the house...

*goes over to a window pane*
*smash*
"mmm - yeah. This one's got a hint of ginger in - lovely!"

*splutters through mouthfull of wall* certainly tastes better than the brussell sprout house over there *gestures with sticky hand*

Brussel sprout house??? I thought that was just a house made out of mouldy green wallpaper and ivy?

I saw a cartoon with a witch peering through the curtains in her sprout house at the kids walking up to the gingerbread house next door and thinking 'Dang Zelda seems to attract all the little kids' and the caption is- Later Edna was forced to sell her brussel sprout house.
The wallpaper and Ivy option doesn't sound too attractive either...
