Located in Valparaiso, Indiana, this University (where I currently school) feels as prestigious as a larger University without losing some of its own small University charm.
The faculty is well-rounded and capable of handling a more personalized level of education than at some Universities: even in crowded lecture classes the professors make an effort to deal with each individual student as much as possible. It isn't even unheard of for an entirely new class to be invented if a large enough selection of students requests that such a class form.
The biggest downfall to the campus is that construction is constantly happening. The work is generally always focussed into one small area of campus leaving the rest of the campus open and inviting....but until the work finishes, the section of campus undergoing renovation can be at best inaccessible and at worst inconvenient (a current construction project has elliminated a third of the parking spaces in a well-used parking lot.)

Fabulous - our first Entry in this project on an overseas university! Thanks, Afgncaap5!
It looks like an impressive place!
Founded 1859 (as one of the first coeducational colleges in the US).

What sort of Entry requirements are there? What's the standard way that US (or overseas) students would apply for an American university?
And...what is the 'Valpo Fight Song'?

To be honest, I'm having trouble remembering just what I did to apply other than filling out a simple request for application. One of the big problems about Valpo, though, is that it's a bit expensive to attend. There's no way on Earth I could come to Valpo if I didn't have lots of little scholarships helping to chip away at the cost.
As for the fight song, that's easy enough...
Hail Crusaders! Who rise to glory,
Our challenge has been hurled.
Team Victorious, our colors glorious
Are known throughout the world,
Valparaiso, we're here to back you,
Our cheers like thunder roar.
See our school, our team,
See our colors gleam.
Let's fight for the Brown and Gold!
I should make an important note, though: Brown and Gold were not (understandably) selected because they're aesthetically pleasing or exciting colors. Brown and Gold are the school colors because they reference two loved and respected (I assume) professors from earlier in the campus history. I'm having trouble finding the details on the colors, however.
