'The Game' - a game for any number of players

1 Conversation

This entry is about a game which, once you know the rules, you will be playing for the rest of your life. It is perfectly possible to then ignore the rules and continue with your life, and when you break the rules it may simply make you feel nostalgic and look back to the day when you first started playing. As the rules are listed below, it is advisable to stop reading if you do not wish to begin playing. The curiosity as to what 'the game' is may eventually drive you insane, but can also be used to engage the curiosity of others.

The rules

  1. Every time you think of 'the game' and remember that you are playing it, you must say 'I've just lost the game'.
  2. If you hear someone say 'I've just lost the game' you do not have to follow rule 1, and you have twenty minutes to forget about it.
