The return of 'whose cunning plan is it this time'

Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans)

Me and Notpanicing yet have had an idea

A star trek RPG along the same lines as say, Star Trek & TNG.

Basically one ship flying around to various planets. The planets will have a seperate page, so you can go down and interact and such, and there will be a star fleet academy and such. In time there could even be two ships, or even DS9...

Now I should have been gathering info on this last week but Im a lazy begger, and I still cant be bothered yet (although a week off soon should cure that).

What I want to know is - what do you lot want? what would make you play? what do you expect to see? which planets do you yearn to travel too?
Anything at all please let us know. Suggestions, anything - the lengthier the better

How about calling it the USS Olympia, and set up Starfleet Academy as the main page.
You could have it that everyone gets a rank and a position, depending on what section they decide to join.
People could take a shuttlecraft or transporter and go on away missions. You two could be Captain and First officer, and you could design a command structure beneath you.
I was actually going to do this idea, and was checking the page when I saw this post, so well done!
Have people get their own quarters and station, and make it necessary that they do their work. For instance, have it that the ship can't go to warp without someone in engineering activating the engines.
You could meet up with aliens and conduct peace talks etc.
These are just a few ideas. What do you think?smiley - smiley
