Lampeter, Dyfed, Wales - Places to Eat
Created | Updated Apr 3, 2012
This is by no means a definitive list but will help you find some of the best eateries in Lampeter should you ever go there. It all depends on how much you want to spend or how fussy you are about the quality of the food.
Conties is a pleasant little café which makes its own ice cream (which they have won many awards for). All the food is home made and it is not expensive, especially recommended is the 'Chocolate Cup'.
The Craft Café is a 'country kitchen' kind of place, slightly more expensive than Conties but the food is excellent. A great place to go with Granny.
Lemon and Limes is a typical kebab/burger/chip shop. It is open till obscene hours in the morning and is often frequented by students as the food is cheap. You can take away or eat in.
The Fish Shop is a little posher than Lemon and Limes, it runs along the lines of 'Ye Olde Chip Shoppe'. The price is more or less the same as Lemon and Limes but the food is slightly nicer. You can take away or eat in.
Terry's sells Pizza, burgers chips etc. The prices are ok and you have the choice of eating in or taking away.
Canton Kitchen is your basic Chinese take away, a little bit expensive depending on what you want. The food's good though.
Dave's Burger Bar is a van that sets up at the end of Station Terrace a short stagger away from the University's student union. It opens about 11pm and sells cheep but tasty food for all impoverished students.
